This tool gives a preliminary estimate of the medical disability percentage for eye and vision impairments in Israel, based on the statutory impairment schedules of the National Insurance Institute (Bituach Leumi) — used for work-injury, general-disability and, as a guiding benchmark, medical-negligence and tort claims — and the Disabled Persons regulations of the Ministry of Defense (for IDF veterans). It mirrors the calculation order and the references to the regulations.
